About OCS
Due to the economic crisis of 1998, in Thailand, and the efforts of the Thai Government in solving this crisis, Olympia International had foreseen the potential of fast recovery in Thailand's economic and potential of fast growing Information Technology of Thailand. Therefore, in June 1998, Olympia International had decided to make additional investment in Thailand. With the assistant and combined efforts of OlympiaThai and Olympia International, Olympia Computer Systems Limited (OCS) was founded and registered with the Ministry of Commerce.
THE OCS BUSINESS CONCEPTS
It was known and widely accepted that Information Technology (IT) had been played very active role in all kind of business. More and more companies had become dependent and rely heavily in using computer systems, as tools, for supports in doing the business. To have and own suitable computer systems can be considered as high investment that essential in doing today's business.
To maintain and up keep the computer systems also would be very high investment and heavy burden to the business, especially those who are in the SME businesses. This is because, the business would have to select and hire suitable computer specialists, as employees, to maintain and up-keep the computer system, to ensure the correct and smooth operations of the computer systems. These specialists do come with very high salary and extra benefit package, which is a heavy burden to the business.
Olympia Computer System, OCS, is doing the business in helping those companies to reduce the burden and cost of maintain and up-keep the computer systems, by provide services and supports in maintenance and up-keeping the computer systems with qualified specialists at affordable cost.
THE OCS BUSINESS POLICIES
In provide high standard of services and supports to the customers, OCS had invested in qualified personnel in different kind of products, both in hardware and system software. And to provide even high quality of services and supports, OCS had also provided additional training for the technical personnel, in the area of skills and know-how, toward Certified Engineers for each of the products.
The basic policy of OCS is to provide the right services and supports to the customers that are affordable. The customers can always smile when come to OCS, because "the quality of job is our service".
THE QUALITY OF SERVICES
At OCS, we believe in provide top quality in services and supports to our customers, at affordable prices. To achieve this, OCS had achieved the award and certificate quality standard of ISO 9002, in February 1999.
OCS had been selected as an Authorized Service Provider (APS) for computer product such as Compaq computers and OKI printers. OCS also Authorized Service Center for UPS product such as APC and Deltect.
THE QUALITY PRODUCTS
Since OCS has teams of qualified service and supports personnel in computer areas, Olympia International had selected OCS to provide computer systems under Olympia owned brand name.
Olympia computer products ranging from Personal Computer (PC) up to Server Computer, are assembled in Thailand and provided to all Olympia's offices in South East Asia, including offices in Hong Kong, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and Thailand. Olympia computer products provided to those Olympia's offices are for internal usage and for resell purposes.
The selected hardware parts for assembly of Olympia computer products, are selected each part for their recognized high quality. For the past year, Olympia computer products had gained recognition for high quality and durable products at competitive prices.
